Transdisciplinary Design

Cameron Hanson

Cameron Hanson is interested in the effects of design on communities – from the micro impact of grassroots organizations to the cultural impacts of large companies. Cameron did her undergrad at Claremont McKenna College where she holds a BA in International Relations and Media Studies and was a four-year NCAA basketball starter. After four years working for global ad agency Team One (part of Saatchi & Saatchi) in media planning and account management, she pivoted to transdisciplinary design as a way to meld her interests and strengths into a field bursting with agency and creativity. Within the Parsons community, Cameron is committed to the inclusive social culture of the TD program, is a co-founder of the inaugural VergeNYC conference, and manages the School of Design Strategies online magazine.
