Transdisciplinary Design

Ankita Roy

Ankita Roy is a design strategist and researcher in pursuit of an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons School of Design. She is interested in using design to empower people, communities and organizations through tapping into each individual’s potential. Before finding herself in New York City, Ankita worked on transforming the world of work in Hong Kong. Partnering with clients such as Standard Chartered Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Ralph Lauren and Cathay Pacific Airways, she worked with leaders and teams on projects related to culture change, leadership & development, employer branding and internal communications.

She is currently the Director for Verge NYC – a student-led conference about transdisciplinary design. Her hope for the event is to create a community and inspire fascinating conversations about the role of design in our world today. In her spare time, she loves writing, photography, yoga, and trying to pick up new skills (most recent adventures have included watercolor, video editting and coding).
