Michelle Alleyne, is a Fashion Authority with 25 years Garment Center experience; and Instructor at Parsons SOF since 2005 teaching Manufacturing, Trend Forecasting, Fashion Marketing, & Fashion Show Production. In addition she owns M Shop NYC, providing Expert Fashion/PR/Stylist Workshops globally; & Consulting Services on Fashion Business Start-up, Marketing/Branding, PR, Event Production, & Manufacturing to HELP fashion entrepreneurs start & build their own businesses.

I left college at 19 to work as a professional photographer for various studios for 7 years. From there I went out on my own and worked 4 years in photography, graphic design, and retail management. I became a small business owner in 2008. I went back to school in 2010. I earned an AA, AS, then a BA at Saint Louis University: metal-smithing, sculpture, and graphic design. At my core, I am a storyteller with a passion for business. My lifelong thirst for learning and entrepreneurship led me to Parsons in 2013.
Alice Bator Krenitski //
Alice is an aspiring business designer. She is a past recipient of a Fulbright grant teaching and studying the power of business design in community development, a graduate from Vanderbilt with a BS in Human & Organizational Development , and is currently a social media coordinator at Warby Parker. In the future, Alice hopes to play a role in inspiring the next creators, dreamers, and innovators.

Adam Chaloeicheep is a strategic designer and brand catalyst.
Elevating companies toward identity cohesion and self-awareness, he has facilitated the execution of holistic branded experiences as a designer, strategist, and manager. Prior to founding an international design strategy firm, Adam supported such companies as Nike, Lululemon Athletica and Rent the Runway by developing conceptual lifestyle experiences through meaningful branding practices. In collaboration with The Scion Group, Gensler, and Getty’s International, he has accumulated over ten years experience branding spatial environments across the real estate industry. Inspired by a life-changing residency in a Thai monastery, Adam coupled his passion for self-awareness with his interest in new technologies towards the development of an interactive meditation app for mobile platforms. I started a non-profit humanitarian relief agency working with AIDS orphans in East Africa about 10 years ago and have been working with non-profits, arts/community development, local and state government and private consulting ever since.

Breanna Glaeser is a candidate for the MS in Strategic Design + Management, with a BS in Psychology and a 4 year affiliation with Harvard Medical School, where she was a research coordinator focusing on clinical neuroscience. In 2011, she co-founded a successful small business in partnership with a designer, and now ventures to combine her analytical strength and creative inclination to work for an innovation consulting firm, specializing in design research or business strategy.

Received her undergrad from a liberal arts school in CT (Trinity College), obtaining a BA in Art History and Fine Arts while minoring in Architectural Design. Her background in the arts provided the framework for her early career in account management for integrated Advertising agencies. Kelli is now working as an Account Director at a large digital NYC agency (Digitas), with category experience in financial services, insurance, food and beverage, luxury automotive and CPG.
Carmel Laurino //
Founder of a social project exploring ways to revitalize the coffee industry in the Philippines. Before setting out to make a difference one cup of coffee at a time, she lived and worked in Seattle receiving her BA in International Studies, at UW. A champion of utilizing design thinking to mobilize and empower developing communities and in the process, she works to foster new ways of collaboration, build stronger communities, and create solutions geared towards a more sustainable future for all.
Martin Lenon //
Martin is an aspiring business designer / strategist with a special interest in social innovation. Before attending Parsons, he was a Senior Associate at a financial institution in Boston, MA. His previous work experience also include real estate management and accounting. He received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University in 2010. He has lived in the Philippines, Japan, Italy, and the US; and he loves cookies.
Marie Saseen //
Marie is passionate about storytelling, group dynamics and strategies for improved productivity. She is also fascinated by motivation, and the use of humor and collaboration to build company culture. Marie has worked in variety of fields, ranging from the correctional services to hospitality and psychological research. Born and raised in Norway, she loves being outside- soaking up inspiration from outdoor experiences.

I am a retail operations consultant and also the co-founder, buyer and creative director of a recently opened accessories and home goods store located in Houston, Texas called Saint Cloud. My background is in the visual arts, and I have an undergraduate degree in painting. I live and work in Houston with my partner, Kelly, and our three dogs.
Alexis McNutt //
Alexis McNutt is a candidate for the MS in Strategic Design + Management, with a BFA in Film, Photography and Visual Arts. Currently she works as a designer for three weekly tabloid magazines. In her spare time she works as a design freelancer with non-profits like FEWS NET, Montclair Film Festival, and the Montclair Art Museum. Her passion is to develop and design new forms of expression that dig into the emotional core of a story.

Elizabeth Mills is a 2009 graduate from Penn State University, where she focused on studied English Writing and Communications. Before coming to Parsons, Elizabeth worked in editorial roles at global publishing houses John Wiley and Sons and Routledge. Her area of interest is digital content and how it is used for learning; through the SD+M program, she plans to research and explore cultural spaces and public places of education, and how they provide value to—and interact with—their patrons.

Robin Asquini //
Robyn is a brand designer and design strategist. She believes that graphic design and strategy go hand in hand when creating a rich brand experience with lasting value. After working for several years as an art director at Flare and More Magazine in Toronto, Canada, Robyn decided to move to New York to pursue an M.S. in Strategic Design and Management. She loves having her hands in different pies, collaborating on new design projects, and never leaves her apartment without a sketchbook.
Romy Raad //
Romy was born in Lebanon. She is a graphic design graduate from the American University of Beirut. After completing her BFA, she worked in a branding agency, Feer McQueen. She did an internship at Paige Management Group, a company based in NY. She then continued working as a senior designer at FMQ with the will to come back to study SDM in the beautiful NYC. She’s a pianist and a foodie to say the least.She has a passion for delicious food and hopes to design and run her own restaurant one day.

Cristina Robledo was born and raised in Colombia. She has a bachelor degree in communications and product design and has a minor in business administration. She is a first year student of the M.S in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons, The New School for Design. She has experience in strategic and communication design in the leading creative agency Sancho BBDO. She has a special interest in business, marketing, and strategies in the design business field.
Eleanor Rosenberg //
Eleanor’s path to Parsons started with a passion for fine art that evolved into a career in design strategy. She is currently living in Brooklyn and working remotely as a Creative Strategist for a brand communications agency in Yukon. If Eleanor can continue making and facilitating positive social change through strategic communications, captivating design and financial stability, life will be a success. She has a BA in Communication Design from Emily Carr University, 2006.
Henryk Stawicki //
Passionate about desing-led strategy, service design, sustainability, empathy and minimalism. I love to improve, change and inspire. In the last 10 years Henryk worked as project developer and manager, brand strategist, event producer, leader and user experience passionate analyst. He co-created, developed and managed projects at Lodz Art Center, Design Centrum Kielce, Lodz Federation of NGO’s, Kielce Technology Park, Lodz Design Festival and Lodz Fotofestiwal.

Hsing Chung is from Taipei, Taiwan, and recently graduated from the Pratt Institute with a master of Architecture. After studying as an architecture student for six years, he decided to leave his comfort zone and embrace the business domain that he had been thinking of exploring for some time now. He believes that being educated with aesthetic training in spatial and graphic design gives him an edge in positioning himself in and contributing to a transdiscplinary team that implements strategic practices.

Adriana was born and raised in Colombia, where she completed her bachelor’s in Industrial Design. Right after graduation she moved to NYC where she was offered a position as a Junior Designer at a small firm in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Since then, she has gathered experience in product design, packaging and interior design. She got involved in hospitality a few years ago after experiencing a growing interest in the restaurant and food industries.
Khourin Wilkins //
Khouri graduated from Kean University with a BA in Communications, and is currently working with a non-profit that assists young adults by providing them with career coaching and employment opportunities. Before that she worked with the Joan Rivers Company. Khourin has returned to school for the challenging progressive environment, and is looking to develop the skills to eventually start her own consulting firm.
Marianne Abreu is a Brazilian Visual & Interaction designer with Industrial Design background. She is currently product designer at Samsung Innovations Lab. Previously, Marianne was a visual and interaction designer for the Internet arm of Globo, the largest media conglomerate in Latin America. She also worked for design agencies and startups in New York City and Silicon Valley.
Taryn is from Thibodaux, Louisiana and has a BFA in Digital Art from Louisiana State University. Before coming here she worked in economic development for digital media, and would like to use her art background and Strategic Design and Management experience to get back into the digital world, especially production.

Andrew Hutton is a management consulting professional for Accenture, and is studying to expand his design and innovation capabilities. In the past year, Andrew has interned at the branding and innovation firm Vivaldi Partners Group, and the product design firm ECCO Design. Before that, Andrew was the Director of Ugandan Operations for a development consultancy. Andrew has B.A. in economics and political science from Wheaton College in Illinois.
Karen believes that creativity and human energy are the keys to returning to a more sustainable balance with the natural world. She acted as the Chief Innovation Officer for West Coast Green, Interim Global Marketing Director for The Cleantech Open, and supported dozens of international initiatives through the “Change Agency” she co-founded four years ago, Ecotone Creative.
Sarah has 20 years leadership experience in nonprofit and healthcare. Known for employing systems thinking principles to lead complete system redesigns; she enjoys the challenge of rethinking systems and designing solutions to reduce cost while expanding service delivery. With a passion for innovation and developing healthy work cultures she authored Living our Values, Leveraging Impact Toolkit. MARK LEAL //
Mark Anthony Leal currently works full-time at the Directors Guild of America and is a Research Assistant for the School of Design Strategies at Parsons the New School for Design. After graduating from Northeastern University with a BS in Music Industry, Mark enrolled at Parsons in order to become a business designer. He currently studies the relationship between humans and technology, and is an advocate for human-centered approaches to design. His upcoming publication, “Omnipresent Access: User Perceptions in New Media” focuses on consumer perception of steaming entertainment and the future design of entertainment delivery.

I had received a B.Sc. in Accounting, M.Sc. in Strategic Entrepreneurship and PhD in Business Administration at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. I had worked as consultant for the Board of a small successful retail company in the construction sector where I had worked on a variety of projects. After receiving an invaluable business experience working as a consultant I had later cofounded a start-up retail company in the medical industry focusing exclusively on the niche of nanotechnology.
Tom is from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in business and a concentration in entrepreneurship. After his undergrad degree, Tom worked in the PR department for the Honduran National Soccer Team, while also doing freelance design for other firms. Tom joined this program to complement his business background with design strategies in order to become a better problem solver.”Tom is currently a UX/UI designer at GameChanger Media, a startup that provides scorekeeping and team management tools for amateur sports”.
Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Alya Alnoaimi is a design strategist. Alya is passionate about instigating innovation by applying design strategies to any challenge.Through her family-owned investment company, Alya has participated in launching and co-managing several projects ranging from industrial services to real estate developments. Additionally, Alya is co-founder of a strategic design consultancy through which she has advised start-ups and non-profit organizations based in New York City.
Alya presented her master’s thesis at the Design Intelligence conference in New York in May 2014. Alya holds a Masters of Science in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons the New School for Design and is fluent in English, French, and Arabic and conversational Spanish. Alya has lived and worked in Abu Dhabi,Dubai, Paris and New York.
