iconic32 Pop Culture Summit

This Saturday, October 3rd we are excited to launch our inaugural iconic32 Pop Culture Summit, which is a first-of-its kind gathering where socially-conscious pop culture stars and influencers will come together to raise money, share knowledge & co-create in the name of social good.

‘Empire’ actor and iconic32 co-founder Malik Yoba will serve as the MC as we take attendees through a one-day spiritual, inspirational, exhilarating journey that will explore and celebrate the role of pop culture as a driving force for social good.

The day, which runs from 9am-6pm, will consist of:

  • Morning yoga and meditation stations, along with breakfast, sponsored by KIND Snacks
  • Film Screenings and discussions
  • Speakers and panels (POP talks)
  • Co-creation lab workshops (art, film, digital, music, fashion, photography)
  • Music and dance performances

The Pop Culture Summit is a new and unique fundraising platform that will raise awareness and financial resources for various causes (Common Ground Foundation, Harry Belafonte’s Sankofa Foundation and John Jay College’s Prison to College Pipeline Program) — while also providing the the space for conscious creatives across tech, film, music, art, sports, entertainment to come together and create alongside some of the most renowned influencers and YouTuber/Viners/digital influencers to demonstrate to the masses how pop culture can be used a powerful and effective vehicle for social good.
