Student Research Fund Applications Due Friday
Parsons encourages the creative and professional development of students. The Student Research Fund was created to support activities of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled during the academic year commencing on or after July 1, 2021. As there are still funds available after the first round was completed, for the 2021-22 academic year, Parsons is making a call for proposals for the second round of funding, open to all students (undergraduate and graduate), with awards limited to $1000. All spending, and any travel paid for with awarded funds, must be completed before June 30, 2022.
Some examples include:
- Taking part in a workshop relating to your area of study/research
- Attending or presenting at a professional conference
- Participating in a travel/study opportunity as part of a project or course (before committing to an activity involving travel, please be sure to review the university’s travel policy)
The Parsons Deans Council will select awardees. Preference will be given to students who have not yet received additional funding related to their coursework and research this year, and to non-material aid requests.
The application form is now open and the deadline to apply is Sunday, April 17th at 11:59 pm with award notification the week of April 25th.
