NDF Lecture Series & Career Advising with MS SDM Alumni

Description: Aaron Fry‘s New Design Firms Lecture Series provides insight from recent MS SDM alumni on their careers since graduation from the program (April 15th).

Venture Lab with Jen van der Meer and Student Entrepreneurs

Description: Virtual Office Hours with Jen van der Meer (Co-Director of Impact Entrepreneurship), and Sasha Charlemagne (second year MS-SDM student) to discuss Venture Lab progress and to answer questions for her venture, Bazou (April 22nd).

Description: Christian Schneider discusses Design Research and Design Strategy – how it has evolved in consulting and industry, how it is addressed in studio courses at the MS SDM, and in new fields of applications (April 27th).

Presentation and Conversation with MS SDM Rotman Design Challenge Winners 

Description: For the second year in a row, students from Parsons’ MS SDM program have won the Rotman Design Challenge, a prestigious international competition for design and business students hosted by the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. The winners share their experience and take questions (May 1st).

Learning Online – Perspectives from MS SDM Faculty and Students

Description: The MS SDM program has many years of experience in online learning, in fact, from its inception students can select from doing the degree as full-time online students or hybrid students taking some course online and on campus.  Faculty, Students, and Alumni discuss the methods and experience of online learning and answer your questions (May 4th).
