Hungry Marketing Assistant Wanted

We are currently looking for a marketing assistant who can offer a fresh new perspective on our marketing projects, the marketplace, and our industry.

This job is for the passionate, the curious, the thinker and the sociable.

 

The marketing tasks for our startup are diverse and involve developing, maintaining and expanding our marketing channels. You will work hand-in-hand with the cofounders on the following:

– Develop online marketing campaigns for the Metabrew and other upcoming offerings

(including weekly newsletter, blog, promotions, social media channels i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)

– Assist in the creation of printed and digital materials (posters, signage, email

campaigns, online promotions, etc…) following the brand guidelines.

– Keep the website and user experience uptodate.

– Analyze competitors landscape.

– Boost inbound marketing and social media following.

– Coordinate activities within the weekly marketing and public relations calendar.

– Develop & execute a marketing strategy for Metamenu.

– Keep our contact/subscribers list up-to-date.

– Track online traffic, data analysis, SEO…

We are super flexible in terms of work hours and the duration of this partnership. We hope to find people that would like to become part of our Metamenu family and create their own responsibilities within.

We cannot pay you right now but we promise to create paid opportunities as soon as the business allows. See below for compensation details.

 

Qualifications:

– Advanced writing skills are a must.

– Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.

– Be an active user on current and emerging social platforms.

– Strong appetite for learning and solving challenges.

– Have your own laptop.

– Have a passion for food and curiosity for the new.

– Up-to-date with current trends.

– Inquisitive in what NYC has to offer.

– Research savvy

– Offline/ online marketing smart.

– Motivation, creativity, quirkiness are part of your nature.

– Knowledge of data analytics is a plus.

 

More details

– Desired Start Date: 09/01/2015

– Duration: 4-6 months. Open for extension.

– Approximate hours per week: minimum 20 hours/week. Work schedule flexible.

– Compensation: includes unlimited monthly metrocard + 1 meal/day.

 

We are looking for people who can potentially grow with us.

We like to spoil our employees and are willing to offer company equity for people who stay with us for at least 2 years.
