A Special Conference For an Incredible Program
The profound transformations of our socio-economic complexes and systems will require entirely novel models of governance. The purpose of our graduate program, the MS in Strategic Design & Management is to fuse and infuse business logic, economic rationality, and organizational reality with the power of design thinking to create a platform for the development and education of future cadres, trail blazers, game changers, and chaos pilots that will leverage the resulting design intelligence into future economies, firms, and teams. Inimitable in its composite of global delivery, ontological pedagogy, strategic vision, and cutting-edge content, it prepares true leaders, innovators, “intra”-preneurs for the new paradigm of social inclusion, the creation of private economic value with social means.
In this inaugural conference we take the opportunity to reflect on the successes, the learning, the experiences, and the tremendous transformations from the program’s very first cycle. Students from the currently graduating cohort have designed and are moderating the event. They will share their developmental milestones and achievements. Innovation consultant Joseph Press will contribute his vision and aspirations for this new platform of design intelligence, and we will all engage – audience included – in an afternoon of intense live studio work, and define, ideate, select, refine, and design together around a specific topic in order to inspire everyone about and with design intelligence.
