Leah graduated with a BA in Architecture from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala. She worked as an architect for three years in Spain, India and Guatemala where she designed projects that ranged from urban planning to, residential design to cultural centers. The observations and questioning of processes within her practice lead to a shift in career path. Nowadays, she is a student of the MFA in Transdisciplinary Design where she is focusing on using design and systems thinking to critically reframe complex problems into design opportunity that ignite positive change. No matter what the problem is, whether it is about food, education or traffic, working with individuals, companies or governments, Leah is passionate about finding ways to envision possibilities that enable meaningful impact.
