Reflections on the Spring 2025 Portfolio Masterclass and Alumni Review Sessions

The sessions were designed to provide the MS SDM students with invaluable tools and guidance to enhance their professional portfolios and advance their careers. Thanks to the incredible dedication and expertise of our alumni, the event exceeded expectations and proved to be an enriching experience for all involved.

A Masterclass on Crafting an Effective Portfolio

The Portfolio Masterclass, led by the talented Paul Benson, took place on February 6th. In this engaging 90-minute Zoom session, Paul shared his extensive knowledge on creating impactful portfolios that stand out in today’s competitive job market. His insights into the key components of a successful portfolio and the process of making a lasting impression during the hiring process were incredibly beneficial to all participants.

Alumni Review Sessions: A Chance to Connect and Grow

Following the masterclass, our Alumni Portfolio Review Sessions provided students with the unique opportunity to receive personalized feedback from alumni. These small-group sessions on February 20th allowed for meaningful interactions where students could receive tailored advice and network with experienced Alumni.

Students appreciated the chance to refine their portfolios and learn from those who have walked the path before them, while alumni enjoyed giving back to the community and sharing their expertise.
