SDM celebrates “Day of the Death”
A group of students from SDM in New Economies, section H recreated a class based on the Mexican tradition of “Día de Muertos” (Day of the Death)
Team Lambdan(one of the three groups of this class) decided to go with this theme for there inversion class in Week 11 for to cover the subject Closed and Open Innovation.
They decided to resurrect Steve Jobs to come back and see what Tim Cook was cooking up in innovation, showing the results of a traditional, hierarchical organization innovating versus an open innovation culture. They did a grate job recreating an “altar de muertos“ dedicated to Steve Jobs and preparing a fun and interactive class in where we could apply open and closed innovation exercise. This was part of remembering Steve and key in the ceremony where they raised him from the dead.
