New Challenge Application Deadline Extended

The New Challenge Application Deadline has been extended until Friday, Feb 26 at 5 pm.
As many of you know, New Challenge is a university-wide ideas competition for New School students who are developing innovative ways of tackling social and environmental challenges on a local or global scale. Selected students are eligible for up to $10,000, as well as mentorship and skill-building workshops, to take their ideas to the next level of implementation. To date, close to 600 students have participated in New Challenge programs. More information about current and past winners can be found on the New Challenge website.
Applicants can apply directly on the New Challenge website. You can also e-mail newchallenge@newschool.edu to sign-up, on a first-come first-serve basis, for 15-minute sessions to receive feedback on their proposals at the following times:

Thursday, February 18 from 10 am to 12 noon

Monday, February 22 from 3 to 5 pm
Up to 20 New Challenge projects will advance to the Finalist Round and deliver pitches at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 5. One of these teams will be selected from the broader New School community.
