Sonder
Description:
Sonder is a platform and system that highlights cultural diversity and elevates the conversation around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the organizational setting. When tackling a topic as expansive as this in an arena as complex as the workplace, it may seem intuitive at first to start from the macro-level vantage point, and that’s what other players in the space have done. However, research has shown that moving beyond the aspirational angle of DEI requires that we actually start small. Sonder understands that behavioral change needs to start from the scale of each individual within the organization and not from the organization as a whole. The Sonder system provides consistent bite-size interventions that are self-initiated and organic to its target users. As a result, Sonder situates users in the driver’s seat as they reflect on how and by how much they want to grow in the DEI space
