As self-described by Butterfly Works, Carpet of Life is an initiative of Taragalte Concept and Butterfly Works. “Butterfly Works is a co-creation studio based in Amsterdam. Through our creative and entrepreneurial brand-building projects in developing countries we aim to decrease global poverty and increase equality.” 

Carpet of Life, as one of these initiatives, is a non-profit project that showcases the creativity of the women from M’hamid El Ghizlane in the south of Morocco through the crafting of these rugs. The article here is recognizing the attention that the project is grabbing in Belgium.
