CO:Design & Strategy 2024
Problems: In Japan, severe problems including a declining population, aging society, strict social norms/groupthink and a language barrier impact small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) negatively through revenue decrease, talent and workforce decrease, lack of diverse perspectives and global market information barriers. These problems make it difficult for Japanese SMEs to expand their businesses abroad to increase their revenue while preserving their cultures and technologies. Through our research, we found that tailored and accessible support for SMEs is overlooked and underserved.
Solution: CO:Design & Strategy aims to solve these issues by partnering with international SMEs to expose their products to the US Market through Market / Data Analysis and User-Centric Insights, Brand Strategy and Communication, as well as Onsite Logistic Support with affordable pricing. By providing these services, we aim to help small business owners make better decisions through strategies backed by data and user centric insights, stronger brand identity to communicate better with their target audience and minimize cost and time for business operation.
Our Clients: We prioritize businesses that embody values of inclusion, sustainability, and cultural uniqueness. Our mission centers on empowering international business owners, with a focus on women entrepreneurs. We target industries such as retail, encompassing crafts and textiles, as well as the food sector dedicated to crafting sustainable, and ethical products. We believe that by supporting these value-based companies, we can create a positive impact in the world.
