Slavin Fellowship

January 31, 2017

In 2015, the Slavin Family Foundation was formed to support students whose independent thinking and exploring spirit will push the boundaries of what is possible.
The Foundation’s main program, the Slavin Fellowship, offers support, mentorship, and a scholarship to a limited number of undergraduate and graduate students pursuing potentially world-changing entrepreneurial projects.
Since the program launched in Fall 2015, Fellowships have been awarded to six students from five universities across the country. The Fellows include undergraduate and graduate students, and their projects include non-profit and for-profit companies in a variety of domains from digital technology to life sciences and engineering. They’ve since gone on to win significant awards such as Forbes 30 Under 30, received venture capital funding, and have featured on major media outlets.
The Fellows receive personal guidance, and strategic, legal, and practical input on the projects and companies they’re leading. Fellows also receive a $2,500 scholarship.
The Slavin Fellowship has application deadline coming up soon on February 15. If you’re a student and are working on a project that would potentially be a good fit, please feel free to to apply. Application instructions can be found on the website at http://slavinfoundation.org. (Note that the application requires a written statement from a university faculty member.)
