Michele Kahane and Marisa Morán Jahn received an Innovation in Education Fund Grant from the Provost Office to launch a new initiative called CARELab. Through research and education, CARELab is focused on building a care economy and a caring society that supports older adults, their families and caregivers. Using strategic design approaches, students and faculty in CARELab work with communities to identify and devise innovative services, products, programs, housing and organizational models, policies, and communications approaches.
