In this ‘$5 Challenge’ team sprint, groups of students were given only two hours to generate as much profit as possible while spending no more than $5 to do so.

Recognizing the constraints of this challenge, first year MS SDM students Christian, Kaiqi, Xiao, Shaha and Binhang pooled their talents and decided to go live in Time Square through a mobile app. They showed people online around the most iconic place in New York City and answered all kinds of questions raised. By reframing problems as opportunities, this team explored their potentials and learned a lot about each other as a result.
