Start.Coop accelerator is hosting Next Generation Entrepreneurship, a virtual celebration of new forms of entrepreneurship and the growth of cooperatives as an alternative to winner-takes-all capitalism, on June 18th.

With a focus on the next generation, this event brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders from business, government, nonprofit, and philanthropy, all of whom are interested in exploring the role of cooperatives in reimagining capitalism and building a more equitable and resilient economy.

The pinnacle of the event is The People’s Pitch, the Start.coop accelerator graduation event. The seven 2021 graduates will pitch their co-ops for a chance to share in a $10,000 prize! And each attendee gets to vote for the winner. Expect dynamic panel discussions and interactive workshops on various topics, including investing in co-ops, the gig economy, the childcare crisis, sustainability and green business, cooperatives in the Black community, and more! And it’s very flexible, you can attend as much, or as little of the programming as you like.
