Transdisciplinary Design

Transdisciplinary graduate Kiersten Nash is making headlines again, this time by rethinking water and challenging people’s perceptions of design. Recently, Kiersten and her colleagues at Public Works invited individuals in Kentucky to “Tune In To The Bluegrass.”  During this one-day workshop, University of Kentucky grads, undergrads, faculty and staff as well as STEAM Academy High School students harnessed the power of art, science and technology as a means to investigate, [dis]assemble and [re]frame their water ways.
