This project was developed by students from the MS Design and Urban Ecologies program, Parsons School of Design, in collaboration with United Families of Sunset Park, a group of local families working together to create cooperative housing in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park. The aim of the project was to explore through research, planning and design, ways to collaborate and create affordable housing models for United Families members and long-term residents of Sunset Park recently threatened with displacement.
