United for Housing: Reclaiming Local Cooperativism in Sunset Park

United for Housing: Reclaiming Local Cooperativism in Sunset Park was exhibited at the Museum of History of Immigration in Paris in Spring 2020. This multi-year project included the work of three student cohorts of the MS in Design and Urban Ecologies  developed in collaboration with community partners in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The exhibition was part of the international and transdisciplinary project Inscriptions in Relation led by Civic City and Dix-Milliards-Humains Research Institute. Over 20 design schools were part of the event which brought together research conducted by theoreticians, creators, artists, designers, historians, urban planners, anthropologists, and citizens. Graduate students Jason Brown, Daniel Chu, Daniela Castillo, and Ana Prada represented the over 40 students that were involved in this housing project.
