Tiffany Khan is a Harlem-based activist focused on improving housing,
health outcomes. Born in Chicago, but raised in Barbados until the age of
5 when she and her family moved to Brooklyn, Ms. Khan studied and worked around
the globe for over a decade. After several years of teaching, Ms. Khan completed a
Master’s in International Affairs with a concentration in Economic and Political Development.
She briefly worked as a consultant for the UN and the Arab NGO Network for Development
abroad until she settled in Harlem in 2012. She has been fighting for the preservation
of affordable housing, the expansion of programs like TIL and MWBE to level the playing
field for the middle class, especially communities of color. As of October 2, 2024,
Ms. Khan is now a candidate running for City Council, District 7.  Two fights Ms. Khan is
project among others. Ms. Khan is also a State Committee member of the
Working Families Party; a board member of the Metropolitan Council on Housing, a
small business owner and proud mother of Athena, a sassy, but sweet public school pre-schooler.
