Red Hook Check-in was featured on DNA Info this week. The initiative, focused on disaster preparedness, seeks to create a neighborhood-wide support system of volunteers to assist Red Hook’s senior and infirm residents in times of need. Design and Urban Ecologies alumni Aran Baker is one of the lead organizers behind the program.

Valentina Branada and Noa Bartfeld, students in the Transdisciplinary Design program, as well as Julia Bartholomew-King, in the Theories of Urban Practice program, and DUE alumni Drew Vanderburg, are also collaborators on the project.
