Disturbanist Discourse 4.0: Critical Approaches to Challenging Normalized Urban Processes
The Reunion
Hub.Up is bringing back the beloved Disturbanist Discourse: a night of presentations, discussion, and celebration featuring recent graduates of the Parsons Theories of Urban Practice (MA) and Design and Urban Ecologies (MS) programs.
Together, we will build connections between students & future colleagues who see their work as ‘disturbing’ standard methods of practices, in realms of everyday urban experience and interaction such as city design, social services, and policy making. And we will explore the question: how can this growing web of disturbanist urbanists support one another as a community?
Alumni will present on their research and practice since graduation, answer questions, and participate in curated round-table discussions. Presentations and discussion followed by a catered reception.
