Congratulations to a winning team from our DUE program! MS Design and Urban Ecologies students Eduarda Aun, Zara Farooq and Lyric Kelkar proposed a solution to overcrowding of schools in Sunset Park through a program called Sunset Park Connect. Congrats to these students for their compelling and innovative work!

The New School’s Center for New York City Affairs, a project of the Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy,  put on a competition called Prized Solutions: Reimagining NYC. This competition identified exemplary research and ideas from New School students that focused on issues impacting New York City. Each of the winners will present their work during a panel discussion to an audience of peers, policy makers, and supporters. Their work will also be published in the Urban Matters blog, an online publication also put on by the Center for New York City Affairs.
