Guillermo León Gómez

Program Director, Urban Design Forum NYC.
Guillermo graduated in 2018 from the Theories of Urban Practice (TUP) program. Prior to TUP, he had received a BA in Art and worked in the art community in Miami.
Guillermo currently works as the Program Director at the Urban Design Forum in New York City. The Forum is a nonprofit membership organization that convenes architects, planners, advocates, journalists, developers and scholars. He organize year-long inquiries on New York City-based challenges in the built environment. By convening urbanists of diverse disciplines, he sheds light on critical issues around equity and justice in the public realm, housing, infrastructure and economic development.
In Guillermo’s words, MATUP provided him the space to explore fascinating topics in Latin America, and re-frame critical urban, social and political issues.
