Quilian Riano – Gaming the System: role-playing spatial and political change
Quilian Riano, professor of the urban undergraduate and graduate programs at Parsons just wrote an article on games and gaming for architects.
The article mentions the Agenda Engine! graduate studio Quilian organized for the Design and Urban Ecologies program at Parsons. As a result of that studio, a group of Design and Urban Ecologies students comprised of Kartik Amarnath, Mateo Fernández-Muro, Demetra Kourri and Masoom Moitra developed a game that would help people learn about the processes of creating a BID and would facilitate the creation of alternative collaboration structures.
