Using Games to Challenge the Gridlock on Fair and Affordable Housing in Westchester County
Design and Urban Ecologies and Theories of Urban Practice professors Adam Lubinski and William Morrish challenge the gridlock of fair and affordable housing in Westchester County by using a game. The game allows community members, developers and affordable housing advocates to rapidly prototype affordable housing in Westchester County – this type of rapid prototyping allows stakeholders to ask critical if-then questions and to ultimately make more informed choices about affordable housing thereafter.
Their work was recently recognized in City Lab: to read more about their game and how it is impacting affordable development, visit their site.
