The Bachelor of Science in Urban Design at Parsons is the country’s first undergraduate urban design degree program housed in an art and design school. Combining fieldwork, design studio and liberal arts instruction, and applied project-based research, the program embodies the mission of civic engagement at the New School. Students in the program creatively reimagine the many roles of the urban designer, inspired by their experience of living and studying in New York City.
