Megan Durlak, who along with fellow TransDesign student James Frankis has been working on an informal mapping project called Mark, recently published an article called “Uncovering the Future Voices of the Favelas” that documents their recent fieldwork in São Paulo. The reflection is part of an ongoing series with Metropolis Magazine in which the two document the nature of transdisciplinary design, working with communities, and the challenges associated with using design for social change.
